2024 Rate Increase points:
  • First increase in 10 years
  • One cubic foot = 7.48 gallons
  • Rate is 5 cents per cubic foot
  • Same rate for all water users
  • Volume=per-quarter remains the same for each customer (cubic ft. allowances unchanged)
  • Costs relate to maintenance and day to day operations, storage, etc...(not "a tax")
  • Excellent local, natural water
  • Ours is a locally managed municipal system, transparent and accountable to all
How hard is my water?
Our water is on the hard side due to calcium carbonate. We have 127.9 mg/L for calcium carbonate present in our water.  Below are the guidelines for classifying the hardness of water:
Measures of water hardness: General guidelines for classification of waters are: 0 to 60 mg/L (milligrams per liter) as calcium carbonate is classified as soft; 61 to 120 mg/L as moderately hard; 121 to 180 mg/L as hard; and more than 180 mg/L as very hard.

Do you have auto pay?
We do not store any customers financial information. You have to initiate the payment. Customers may set up a recurring payment through their own bank.

When will gallup/glacier creek bridge be replaced?
We are hearing it may be in 2026.
